Decision Making
Skip Sander does 90% of the work in arranging/organizing these reunions. George Clifton does the other 10%.
Ray Casey does 90% of the work in making them happen. Skip and George, assisted by a few others, split the other 10% (photographer, memory book, entertainment, chaplain, memorial service, missing man table, etc.).
We could have a reunion every week, and never run out of great destinations.
Aboard ship, the crew had nothing to say about liberty ports. Neither do our people have much to say about reunion destinations. Skip and George, assisted by Ray, make those decisions, based on their knowledge, experience, and personal work. They, especially Skip, don't have the time for, or interest in, protracted discussions about where to go. We do not vote on destinations.
